Nora Pykkonen is an unlike!y ski-racing entrepreneur. The mother of four learned to ski only in middle age and readily admits that she can’t keep up with her children. But that didn’t stop her from buying a struggling ski area and launching one of this winter’s most unusual ventures: Front Range Ski Club, a members only hill that ignores the continuing growth of freestyle and freeskiing competition to focus solely on race training.
